Yizhi Zou’s work revolves around the sociological and psychological aspect of society. She feels that through art she is able to comfortably express her perspectives and ideas. Many of her work reflects her personal experience and questions within the modern society.

Yizhi aspires to conceptualize and materialize her experiences, and then reintroduce them back to the public; so as to create a fresh or different perspective.​
